Joewy Mumba is a Zambian-born entrepreneur, founder, and business builder focused on developing brands, creating practical businesses, and identifying opportunities across multiple industries.

Born in Kasama, Zambia, Joewy moved to Lusaka at the age of two, where he attended Treetops Elementary School. He later relocated to the United States, living in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and New York before eventually settling in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, where he graduated from Mount Vernon High School.

Growing up across different cities, countries, and cultures shaped his ability to adapt, learn quickly, and connect with people from different backgrounds. Those experiences continue to influence the way he approaches business today: remain adaptable, recognize opportunity, and keep moving forward.

MY JOURNEY

Joewy’s professional path has taken him through multiple industries, with much of his hands-on experience rooted in food, hospitality, business development, and entrepreneurship.

Over time, his focus shifted from simply working within businesses to building and developing businesses of his own. He became increasingly interested in how an idea becomes a brand, how a brand becomes a functioning business, and how that business can grow beyond its original concept.

Today, the Joewy Mumba name serves as the umbrella behind a growing portfolio of ventures across food and hospitality, consumer products, consulting, publishing, media, services, and emerging business opportunities.
